  8. This is an update to the Metrowerks 68K debugger that
  9. fixes some long-standing incompatibilities. It is
  10. functionally equivalent to the 1.01 release.
  11.  
  12. To apply the update use the UpdateUser 2.2 utility from
  13. the CW4 CD. Copy UpdateUser from the CD and increase the
  14. partition size to 2000K. Both of the enclosed patch
  15. files must be applied. “MW Debug/68K 1.02 update”
  16. should be applied to the MW Debug/68K 1.0 debugger from
  17. the CW4 CD. “DebuggerINIT 1.1d6 update” should be applied
  18. to the DebuggerINIT from the CW4 CD.

  20. Make sure you replace the old DebuggerINIT in your extensions
  21. folder with the updated version, and restart.

  26. - Now works with virtual memory on 68K Macs and on Power
  27.   Macs under emulation.

  29. - Now works with Geoport Express Modem software.
  30.  
  31. - Now works with RamDoubler.

  33. - Now works in 24-bit mode.

  35. Note: there is a known bug in the 1.0, 1.01, and 1.02 debuggers
  36. when you rebuild a 68K application without closing the SYM file
  37. in the debugger. The application may crash the next time you run 
  38. it. This bug will be fixed in the January CW5 release. For now,
  39. either close all debugger windows (or quit the debugger), before
  40. or after rebuilding your program.
